This Cookie Policy is issued by RATIFY TECHNOLOGIES FZCO, together with its parent company and affiliated entities (collectively, “Ratify”), operating the Platform.
We use cookies and similar technologies to provide, improve, and secure the Platform. This Cookie Policy explains what these technologies are, why we use them, and your choices.
We process cookies in accordance with applicable laws, including UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on Personal Data Protection (PDPL) and, where required, EU ePrivacy and GDPR regulations.
1. What Are Cookies and Similar Technologies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit or use the Platform. They help us remember your preferences, maintain secure sessions, and understand usage patterns.
We may also use similar technologies such as web beacons, pixels, or local storage. For simplicity, all such technologies are referred to as “cookies” in this Policy.
This Cookie Policy is incorporated into and forms part of the Terms of Service. By using the Platform, you agree to the practices described in this Policy. Capitalized terms not defined herein have the meanings given in the Terms of Service.
2. Cookies We Use
We use a cookie consent banner to obtain your consent for non-essential cookies where required by applicable law.
Strictly necessary cookies are essential for the operation of the Platform and do not require consent.
Security cookies are used to authenticate users, prevent fraudulent use of login credentials, and protect user data from unauthorized access. These cookies are classified as strictly necessary.
Analytics cookies are placed only where legally permitted and subject to your consent where required.
The cookie banner / consent manager may display the most current list of cookies in use at any time and prevails over this table in case of any inconsistency.
Actual cookie names, providers, and durations may vary depending on our technical implementation.
Strictly necessary cookies are used to provide the Platform and secure your account. Where required by law, we rely on your consent for analytics and other non-essential cookies.
Aggregated and Anonymized Data
We may generate and use anonymized and aggregated information derived from cookies for internal research, analytics, reporting, and to improve the Platform. Such information does not identify you or any individual and is not personal data for the purposes of applicable data protection laws.
3. How We Obtain and Manage Consent
When you first visit the Platform, a cookie banner will request your consent for non-essential cookies where required by law.
You may change or withdraw your consent at any time through the “Cookie Settings” link in the Platform footer or other settings made available on the Platform.
If you withdraw consent, it will not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before your withdrawal.
4. Third-Party Cookies
Certain cookies are set by third-party services we integrate, such as analytics providers, payment processors, and customer support tools. These third parties may process cookie data in accordance with their own privacy and cookie policies.
Some third-party providers may process cookie data outside the United Arab Emirates. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for information on international data transfers and how we handle personal data collected via cookies.
We do not control third-party cookies or how those third parties use data collected through their technologies, and their practices are governed by their own policies.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Ratify is not responsible or liable for the privacy or data practices of third-party service providers. We encourage you to review the privacy and cookie policies of such providers directly.
5. Managing and Controlling Cookies
You can manage cookies in the following ways:
